Improving body image after breast cancer
Breast cancer treatment can change your appearance in so many ways. You might feel uncomfortable or self-conscious about surgical scars, the loss of breasts, the look of reconstructed breasts, weight changes, hair loss, skin changes from radiation, or swelling from lymphedema. These concerns can affect your relationships and sexual health. We share seven ways to take care of your mental health and embrace who you are today.

"Even 15 years later, breast cancer enters my thoughts on a daily basis, but only briefly. My advice is to regain every part of your life that was good, learn to say no to things that do not bring joy, and be ever hopeful for each day. Get up early and go to bed late... there is much beauty in every hour of every day that can be found."
